# Glock 42 .380 Thin Blue Line Magazine Shoe Decals – 6 Pack
Set of **6 custom Thin Blue Line decals** designed to fit the magazine shoe/base plate of the **Glock 42 .380 caliber pistol**.
The product photos may show the decal installed on a **ProMag magazine** for display purposes. **Magazine, firearm, and magazine shoe/base plate are not included.** This listing is for the decals only.
## Decal Size
Each decal measures approximately:
**0.83" × 1.31"**
The center opening is positioned to align with the magazine shoe release area.

## Layered Construction
These are not standard single-layer stickers. Each decal is constructed as a layered piece:
* Printed on **matte printable vinyl**
* Covered with a **clear UV-protective laminate**
* The vinyl's original adhesive layer is bonded to an additional **PET (polyethylene terephthalate) double-sided adhesive layer**
* This provides an additional adhesive surface beyond the vinyl adhesive alone
The result is a removable decal with a stronger mounting system designed to remain securely attached during normal handling and use.
## Installation / Surface Preparation
For best adhesion:
1. Make sure the magazine shoe surface is **clean, dry, and free of oil, dirt, dust, or residue**.
2. Carefully position the decal over the magazine shoe.
3. Align the opening in the decal with the **magazine shoe release**.
4. Square the decal with the edges of the shoe using your fingers before applying firm pressure.
5. During initial placement, the decal can generally be lifted and repositioned **2–3 times** if adjustment is needed.
6. Once properly aligned, press firmly across the entire decal, especially around the edges.
7. Allow the adhesive to **cure for approximately 24 hours** before heavy handling.
The decal remains removable, but the layered adhesive construction is intended to provide substantially better retention than a basic sticker that may begin lifting shortly after installation.
## Important Note About Cutting
Because these decals are produced from multiple laminated and adhesive layers, some pieces may have small **“hanging chads”** or tiny partially attached cut remnants around an edge or the release-hole opening.
These are normal byproducts of the cutting process and **simply pop or pull off cleanly by hand**. They do not affect the fit, appearance, or performance of the decal.
